{"id":337,"date":"2016-05-16T19:33:59","date_gmt":"2016-05-16T23:33:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.keyshoa.org\/?p=224"},"modified":"2020-05-22T14:46:45","modified_gmt":"2020-05-22T14:46:45","slug":"latest-update-on-geese-fencing-from-the-keys-hoa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/keyshoa.com\/keyswp\/archives\/337","title":{"rendered":"Latest Update on Geese Fencing from the Keys HOA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Keys Owners,<\/p>\n<p>The Board apologizes for yet another email concerning Canada geese.&nbsp; However, there have been some changes to our plans.<\/p>\n<p>Since we sent our last email, which informed residents that we would be removing the fence on June 15, several residents have asked why the fencing would be removed so early.<\/p>\n<p>So, as we do with all wildlife questions, we went back to the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">NC Wildlife Resource Commission<\/span> and asked how long a goose restraining fence should stay in place.<\/p>\n<p>The following response was provided:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Recommendations for Habitat and Behavior Modification recommend fencing through mid-July<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Based on the above recommendation, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">we will now be removing the fence July 29 at 5:00 pm<\/span>.&nbsp; Please let the board know if you can help with the removal and storage of the goose restraining fence.<\/p>\n<p>Sincerely,<\/p>\n<p>Keys HOA Board of Directors<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Keys Owners, The Board apologizes for yet another email concerning Canada geese.&nbsp; However, there have been some changes to our plans.
