It is with greatest sadness that we share the passing of Pat Lukaszewski, a resident of the Keys. She was a good neighbor and a great friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Keys HOA – Updates on Kure Beach Town Activities
Looks like Kure Beach Market Tuesdays is starting back up, and so are yoga and Tai-Chi on Ocean Front Park. Town Activities weekly posting on our site will start back up next week. Hope everyone still keep proper social distancing and stay safe.

Keys HOA – Copperhead Snake Alert
Please be advised to keep a close eye on your animals. On June 4 in the late afternoon a dog got bit on the nose by a copperhead snake. This occurred behind houses on Settlers Lane.
Please remember to keep dogs on their leashes and keep an eye out for copperheads. Sometimes snakes can look like sticks.
Dog was rushed to the vet and given antihistamines.

The postponed march Keys HOA meeting is now scheduled for this coming Friday May 8th at 10:00am in the Kure Beach Village Clubhouse.

The town has been informed that the clearing of underbrush will not begin this week and that we will be informed when the project will begin.

Keys HOA – A Letter from Keys President regarding MOTSU
MOTSU has notified the Town of Kure Beach that work to clear the underbrush on MOTSU property will begin next week. Some of this property abuts houses on Settlers Lane. MOTSU and the Town request that residents respect this initiative and not interfere with the project in any way.
This MOTSU initiative is in preparation for an anticipated controlled burn in the near future. Please help us ensure that the project goes smoothly.
