Bereavement Announcement

I am sad to share with you the passing of one of our Keys Residents.

William Trybulski died on August 11, 2018, at his home at 650 Sloop Pointe Lane. A memorial service was held on Thursday at St. Andrews the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Apex. He is survived by his significant other of 20 years, Cindy Hughes.

Alligator Removal Plan and Safety Rules

The Wildlife Commission Officers visited the retention pond and observed the alligator. We will be receiving our permit either this week or next, at which time we will contact the wildlife expert to begin the process of removing the alligator.

They estimated it to be a young one of 4-5 feet long. They also believe that humans have fed this gator sometime in the past so they recommended that residents stay away from the retention pond banks as to not attract the alligator towards people.

They asked that we remind residents that alligators are federally protected. The following rules apply:
