Keys HOA Bereavement News, March 12, 2015

We are sorry to report that Bert Ellison passed away yesterday morning due to massive heart attack. Bert and Marva were long-time residents of the Keys. They lived on 609 Sloop Pointe Lane.

We do not yet have information on arrangements. Their home address is 280 Pinyon Circle, Pinehurst, NC 28374.

Our hearts go out to Marva and family.

A Note from the Keys HOA

How To Turn Off Water To Your Home

There are two ways to turn off the water to you home,

In the very front of the foundation of your home, just below the front water spigot, there is a metal covering in the ground, remove the covering, locate (you may have to dig to find it) the water turn off valve, rotate the handle to the right (water off).In many cases it may be very hard to turn the handle because most have never been turned off.

Also, in the front of your home, roughly mid-way between the street and the home and between the drive ways is another metal covering (generally two, one for each home) in the ground that leads to the water meter main turn off valve. You should choose the covering that points to your home. You will need a pair of “channel locks” to close this valve.
