It is with heavy heart that we share with you the passing of Harry Birch who lived at 821 Sloop Pointe for over 10 years. Harry served for several years as a Keys HOA board member. At this time, there are no known announced services.

Keys HOA – Pond Fountain Update

The fountain in the pond is presently shut off due to vegetation and algae clogging the intake of the pump.  The low water level of the pond probably contributed to the problem. 

The pump and fountain will be turned on as soon as the intake is cleaned and the water level rises to a more normal state.

We appreciate you patience as we work through the latest fountain downtime.

Keys HOA – Important Insurance Reminder

Per The Covenants for The Keys at Kure Beach: Article 6, Section 6.1, Property insurance, including Windstorm/Hail insurance, is required for all units in the Keys. Proof of insurance must be received by the HOA annually.  Please mail, email (keysinsurance77@gmail.com)

or deliver declaration pages from your renewed policies to the HOA office, 701 Sailor Court, Kure Beach, NC 28449.

An alternative is to request that your insurance company list the Keys of Kure Beach HOA (address above) as an interested party, and your policy should automatically be sent to the office each year. 

We are asking for every owner’s cooperation in providing renewals to the office.  Currently, Board members and office staff are spending valuable time sending multiple requests to owners for proof of insurance and we would sincerely appreciate your assistance with keeping our records up to date.

We just heard the sad news that John Winkelman passed away yesterday. John lived in the Keys on Settlers Lane since 1995.  He will be greatly missed.
