Feeding wildlife promotes unsanitary conditions and is detrimental to the community. It is also harmful for the wildlife, and poses dangerous risks to household pets and people. Furthermore, feeding wildlife near residential areas often attracts animals onto properties, where they may build nests and cause costly damage to buildings. As a result, Keys residents are prohibited from feeding wildlife on common areas.

The Keys HOA Board is saddened to inform the community of the passing
of former HOA Board member, ML Smith. ML was a former Marine and
held a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology. His professional
career was devoted to helping college students to define and achieve their
educational goals.
ML had a passion for his beloved Corvette. In addition, he was actively
involved in the Cape Fear Turtle Project, Island Men, the American Legion
and the HOA Board. Additionally, he was a mentor to many young men
and women. He and his wife, Sara, were proud dog owners with a love for
German Shepherds and Pembroke Welsh Corgis. ML lived a rich,
meaningful, and impactful life. The world is truly better for his presence
and the legacy he leaves behind.

If an owner wishes to have a covering added to the garage door such as a
mesh or screen, that covering must be added to the inside of the garage
door. In that way, the covering will not be visible from the street when the
