Emily Barber, 100, one of the original residents of the Keys passed away October 27th 2022 at Trinity Grove. There will be a memorial service for Emily at the Lutheran Church in Kure Beach next Saturday at 2pm. Click here for Emily’s Obituary.
With heavy hearts, we’d like to let everyone know that John Chadwick of 610 Sloop Pointe Lane lost his fight with cancer and passed away last Saturday Oct 15. John had been a full time resident in the Keys for the last 15 years and had served on the Keys HOA board as our landscape chair. He will be sorely missed by many in our community.
There will be a memorial service for John on Saturday the 19th of November at 3 pm. It will be held in the Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel located at 4108 South College Road, Wilmington NC. Following the service, the family will hold a celebration of his life at the American Legion Post 129, 1500 Bridge Barrier Road, Carolina Beach NC. The Legion is located behind the Food Lion Shopping Center in Carolina Beach.

TruGreen will be Treating Front Lawns on Monday, October 24, 2022
It is important that residents not walk over treated areas or walk their pets on treated areas for
one hour after treatment! When the treatment has dried you will not track chemicals back into your home. Please dispose of the TruGreen signs posted in your yards.
Reminder: The termite inspection has been rescheduled for Friday, October 28, 8 AM to 4 PM
The next Keys HOA board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 12th, 2022 at 5pm in the Clubhouse and on Zoom. This meeting has a little different structure since we will be deciding on our roles for the year and also discussing the transition to the property management company. Grace will not be able to be with us but is sending out her financial report for the month.

Canady has postponed the termite inspection scheduled for tomorrow because of the Tropical Storm warning. They have rescheduled it for Friday, October 28.
The Annual Meeting will be held as scheduled on Saturday, October 1, at 10 AM.
